Make plans now to attend and be part of this huge Prairie Village event. It’s three and a half big days featuring parades, the largest flea market in the area, steam and horse threshing, a wagon train, machinery demonstrations, truck and tractor pulls, train and carousel rides, free musical entertainment, exhibits, food and family fun.
Jamboree Admission: Adults – $10 daily except $12 Saturday; ages 6-12 – $2 daily; ages 5 and under – free. Jamboree 4-day pass: $30, or free with Prairie Village season pass. Exhibitors and vendors Jamboree 4-day pass: $7, or free with season pass. Ages 6-12 4-day pass: $7.
All electrical camp sites for the 58th Annual Jamboree have been reserved. We accommodate all additional campers if they desire to camp without electricity (dry lot). No reservations are required for the dry lot area and generators are welcome in that area only. Click here to see details of camping and lodging options.
Golf cart rentals will be available during Jamboree until the supply is exhausted, beginning at noon on Thursday. Payment for rentals must be cash or check only – no credit cards. A $20 Prairie Village registration fee will be payable separately at the gate with admission. For information regarding rental reservations, call Brian at 605-595-8985.
Thursday, August 27 at 4:30: Board of Directors Appreciation Supper free for all Jamboree exhibitors, vendors and volunteers. Judging of the pie contest will take place at 3:30, prior to the appreciation dinner.

Our dinner train will be serving a four course meal on Friday evening, August 28, leaving the depot at 6 pm. Reservations are required – $25 single, $40 a couple, $14 age 12 and under. Call the Prairie Village office at 605-256-3644 or 800-693-3644 to make reservations.
No person under the age of 16 is permitted to drive a motor vehicle on the Prairie Village grounds, with only one exception: Young driver’s training will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday of the Jamboree. The completion of this training allows young persons under 16 to drive tractors during the Jamboree parades and tractor pulls ONLY. The training location is just south of the Electric Museum on the east end of machinery row.
VEHICLE TRAFFIC. During the Jamboree, the highest density of vehicle traffic on SD Hwy 34 coming into the Prairie Village parking area will likely be between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the Jamboree.
DURING THE JAMBOREE ALL ATVs ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED, as are dirt bikes and motor scooters. Medical scooters are ok. GOLF CARTS AND SIDE BY SIDES ARE ALLOWED WTIH A REGISTRATION FEE OF $20.
All entertainment in the Lawrence Welk Opera House is FREE to Jamboree attendees:
