Auction

Note: Camping will not be allowed prior to, or the night of the auction, due to the need for full gate closure nightly. Camping will open for the season on Sunday, May 3, 2026.


Important dates regarding 2026 auction and consignments:
Monday, April 7: You can begin contacting us regarding your consign-able items for listing on our auction page (see below) Email: manager@prairievillage.org, or call 605-256-3644 (leave a message and we’ll call you back).
Friday, April 25: The first day we will accept consign-able items brought physically to the grounds – between 8:00 am – 5:30 pm daily (including the weekend) ….each day from April 25 until the day before the sale. Gates will be closed and locked each evening, including the night before the sale. Please do not attempt to enter the grounds after gate closing.

Please do not consign or attempt to bring: general rummage, home/office appliances or furniture, worn-out tires, non-running salvage mowers, or other junk-type items.
