LAKE COUNTY 4-H’ERS built benches and picnic tables for the historic Prairie Village west of Madison. Youth learned measuring skills and how to use construction tools like drills, wrenches, hammers and tape measures to construct the benches and tables. The supplies for this project were made possible by a Building Our South Dakota Rural Communities grant. The benches and tables were delivered to Prairie Village on Saturday. They will be placed around the sandbox that 4-Hers built at Prairie Village in 2015.
