WITH A BELCH OF SMOKE and a blast for the steam whistle, Prairie Village’s giant woke from a long slumber. On Saturday, the steam engine #29 went around the entire track at Prairie Village for the first time in 13 years. While there are still some repairs necessary, plans are to operate it for train rides on Aug. 24 during Prairie Village’s annual Steam Threshing Jamboree.
